Pervert Teacher Alicia Gray: ‘Hey, I’m Totally Sorry for Boinking a 14-Year-Old’

You may recall I highlighted Alicia Gray’s crime in a post about female sex offenders entitled “She Craved the Taste of Boy Flesh.” In the interest of fairness, we must now report that she has admitted that giving a 14-year-old boy a blowjob was a bad idea:

A former Alabama math teacher recorded and released a video apology after pleading guilty to charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old student.
Alicia Gray, 28, accepted a plea deal Jan. 10 and was convicted in exchange for six months in jail and five years probation. She also lost her teaching certificate and will have to register as a sex offender. . . .
In a video produced by Gray’s church, Deeper Life Fellowship, the woman asks forgiveness from “those she hurt,” including the 14-year-old boy with whom she had sex last year. She credits her faith with helping her through the year.
“I realize I hurt many people and I also realize the implications of what I’ve done, and the possible difficulties that have been caused to people who have been hurt,” Gray says in the video, reading the statement she made in court Friday. “I apologize for what I’ve done. The person I was a year ago is gone.”

(Translation: “The person I was a year ago was having felony sex with a ninth-grader, which was awesome until I got caught. That doesn’t mean I’m a bad person, so don’t hate me.”)

Administration officials at Mary G. Montgomery High School, where Gray worked, contacted police after learning of her relationship with a student in February 2013.
The relationship began New Year’s Day when Gray and the victim exchanged messages on Facebook, and ultimately became sexual, with the teacher sending him nude photos, and engaging in oral sex with him.
With her husband by her side, Gray turned herself in to police on Feb. 25 of last year.

(“With her husband by her side” — how creepy is that, huh? When your wife decides to get it on with a high-school freshman, it’s maybe kind of a hint she’s not really all that into you.)

Now she says she found God.

(Alas, somewhat belatedly.)

“I had insecurities. I had pain in my own heart and a void that I needed to fill through attention,” Gray says in the video. “That void was needing Jesus.”

 

OK, then, let that be a lesson for the rest of you: If faced with a choice between (a) having sex with a 14-year-old and (b) finding God, it’s probably best to choose (b), because if you choose (a), you may subsequently change your mind after you get (c) arrested, (d) charged with a felony and (e) sentenced to jail as a sex offender.

When the going gets weird, my Twitter timeline gets interesting. It is perhaps unnecessary to remind readers of these recent items:

To summarize briefly, radical lesbian feminists reject the claims of “trans women” to inclusion, and this rejection is denounced by “trans women” as hate. This bizarre controversy is occurring on the extreme fringe of the culture wars, which doesn’t mean that the conflict isn’t taken seriously by the participants. At a radical progressive conference last May in Portland, Oregon, transgender activists attacked two women “in a coordinated assault as they sat at a table which sold feminist books and literature.” Obviously, I have no (heteronormative patriarchal) dog in this fight, but as the first conservative to pay much attention to this intramural left-wing scrimmage, I felt it might be helpful to translate terms into the vernacular:

You’ll notice here that I used the colloquial synonym “shemale” because the word “transphobic” was already in the headline, and the vivid slang term is also an eye-catcher. It’s click-bait. The object of a headline is to get the reader’s attention, which is why the New York Post often uses words “thug” or “perv” in headlines of stories about perpetrators of violence or sexual deviance. At any rate, a certain troll decided that I should be exposed as a hatemonger:


The person who got trolled up then decided to hector me at some length, as if I’ve got nothing else to worry about except being sensitive to the feelings of the transgender community.

OK, if East Tennessee’s Most Famous Transgender Feminist™  wants widespread attention, how about this fascinating “When Did You Know You Were Trans” video, huh?

I knew when I would play with the other girls, when I had a desire to be like them, a feeling that I should be like them, a feeling that I should not be like this — and them telling me that that feeling was wrong.
I knew that night they made fun of me in the parking lot of the mall when we were walking back to the car. They made fun of me for being “effeminate”. I knew when they used to punish me for crying and call me a pussy and tell me to “man up”. . . .
I knew when I would go to school only to be called a “faggot” by the boys they forced me to be around when, try as I might, I couldn’t fit in with them or feel comfortable around them. I knew when those boys told me to cut my hair and tried to hit me and called me a girl like it was an insult. The boys that they said were like me, that they wanted me to be like, the boys that I didn’t want to be.
I knew when they would toss around transphobic slurs like it was nothing. I knew when they called them “shemales” and “trannies” and “it” and no one batted an eye — but I did. . . .
I knew when my dysphoria got worse and despite all that I wasn’t sure that what I was feeling was legitimate because I didn’t want to be a 1950?s housewife, that I didn’t know if my sexual attraction to men was legitimate because I didn’t want to have sex with anyone as a man and I had never been with a man, that maybe I was just an “autogynephile” because the thought of having sex as a woman (god forbid!) turned me on. . . .

You can read the whole weird thing, and sympathize or not, but the point is that you have a right to think what you want, no matter how much the Eternally Victimized insist they are entitled to your sympathy.

You can never pity the Eternally Victimized as much as they pity themselves, but failing to RSVP an invitation to their pity party? That’s hate! How dare you withhold your approval!

As to the controversy between radical feminists and “trans women,” permit me to predict that the radical feminists will ultimately lose that battle, which is not to say they should lose. The experience and goals of radical feminists — i.e., man-hating Marxist lesbians — are different from and essentially at odds with the experience and goals of transgenders. On the one hand, radical feminists deserve credit for being honest about what they want and why they want it, but on the other hand, @papierhache is ultimately less dangerous, if only because the whole ridiculous Helpless Tranny Victim trip is so pathetic.

Inadequacy doesn’t really rate as a militant cause.

 

#NV04 Gets Interesting

My friend Niger Innis declared himself a candidate for Congress in Nevada’s 4th District today. Niger faces a GOP primary contest against a good conservative, and I’ve got some issues on his immigration policy, but (a) he’s my friend and (b) his candidacy may raise the profile of this key 2014 House race:

Republican Niger Innis on Wednesday launched his Nevada congressional campaign on a populist note, saying he wants to revive the “American dream” by expanding job opportunities for the poor and middle class and by helping small businesses thrive.
He said Democrats have not done enough to provide equal opportunity for the poor and middle class.
Innis slammed U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., for lamenting the gap between the rich and poor even though Reid has been in the majority power seat for seven years, including periods when Democrats held both houses and the White House and had more ability to make changes.
“They want to run on income inequality? Bring it on!” Innis said.
Innis also said his campaign will unveil a comprehensive immigration reform plan that would provide a pathway to U.S. citizenship for many of the 11 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, although he said he would place a premium on ensuring the security of the U.S. border.
He said he’ll offer a health plan as well as Nevadans and Americans struggle to gain insurance coverage, now required by President Barack Obama’s health insurance law.
“We are a state that is filled with a diverse population of people who are not looking for government to solve their problems, but get out of the way of opportunity,” Innis said.
Innis, a conservative African-American and a member of the small-government Tea Party movement, is running for the 4th Congressional District seat now held by Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., a freshman and Nevada’s first black congressman. Innis also faces a primary against Assemblyman Cresent Hardy, R-Mesquite.
The vast congressional district, created in 2012 after the latest U.S. Census, covers most of northern Clark County, part of Lyon County, and all of Esmeralda, Lincoln, Mineral, Nye and White Pine counties. Still, more than four-fifths of the district’s population lives in Clark County, which is the home base for both Horsford and Innis.

Hey, we need to talk about this “pathway to citizenship” thing, OK? But other than that, good luck.

What is this nonsense?

“We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said Tuesday as he convened his first Cabinet meeting of the year.
Obama continued: ”And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward in helping to make sure our kids are getting the best education possible, making sure that our businesses are getting the kind of support and help they need to grow and advance, to make sure that people are getting the skills that they need to get those jobs that our businesses are creating.”

The title of this post does not mean to imply a lack of respect for #OccupyResoluteDesk’s low animal cunning. Past all of the bluster, though, what does this mean? Is it tantamount to saying that our separation of powers is moot? Is the pack of limp-wristed sycophants on Capitol Hill sufficiently softened by the ObamaCare hijinks that they’ll cheerfully pass a law backing up Obama’s fiats, to keep the fig leaf in place?
To paraphrase George R. R. Martin: November is coming.

New York Times Plays the Koch Card, Reporting Democrat ObamaCare Panic

The free market group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) opened the 2014 campaign early, running ads targeting vulnerable senators who voted for ObamaCare, as I have previously reported:

AFP is one of the largest grassroots organizations in America, with thousands of supporters and contributors, but notice how the New York Times emphasizes a certain name in this article:

Democrats are increasingly anxious about an onslaught of television ads hitting vulnerable Senate and House candidates for their support of the new health law, since many lack the resources to fight back in the early stages of the midterm campaign.
Since September, Americans for Prosperity, a group financed in part by the billionaire Koch brothers, has spent an estimated $20 million on television advertising that calls out House and Senate Democrats by name for their support of the Affordable Care Act. . . .
Some Democrats are open about calling for help from allies and supporters of the health care law who may be biding their time.
“Democrats need money at this early stage in order to fight back against the limitless spending from the Kochs,” said Guy Cecil, the executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. “As we get closer to the election, we will have the resources to introduce their Tea Party candidates before they have an opportunity to define themselves for voters, but right now the limitless spending from the Kochs means we need Democratic donors to step up in a bigger way immediately.”

Why do the Koch brothers deserve mention in the second paragraph of this article, whereas the word “ObamaCare” does not appear until the 19th paragraph? The article doesn’t even name President Obama, who is thereby a sort of ghost haunting this article which is, after all, about the failures of his signature legislation.

The status of the New York Times as a Democrat Party propaganda organ has never really been in doubt, so it’s very encouraging to see this evidence that Harry Reid has hit the panic button. Meanwhile, AFP has launched new ads targeting vulnerable House members who voted for ObamaCare, including this one against Rep. Gary Peters (D-Michigan):

Lena Dunham: ‘If You’re Not Into Me, That’s Your Problem’

Was a reporter guilty of misogyny in questioning the rationale of the frequent Lena Dunham nude scenes in the HBO series Girls?

Certainly, producers of Dunham’s show answered in the affirmative. “It’s sexist and offensive, it’s misogynistic,” said Judd Apatow, while another producer spoke of her “rage spiral” toward reporter Tim Molloy: “[T]his idea that you would talk to a woman like that . . . The idea, it just makes me sort of sick.”

All the focus has been on Molloy’s Sexist Offensive Question:

“I don’t get the purpose of all the nudity on the show. By you particularly. I feel like I’m walking into a trap where you say no one complains about the nudity on ‘Game of Thrones,’ but I get why they’re doing it. They’re doing it to be salacious. To titillate people. And your character is often naked at random times for no reason.”

Amid all the rage over Molloy’s question, no one seems to be asking, “Was Dunham’s answer to Molloy gay-baiting?” Seriously:

“[The nude scenes are] a realistic expression of what it’s like to be alive. . . But I totally get it. If you’re not into me, that’s your problem and you’re going to have to work that out with professionals.”

WHOA!

A man who isn’t “into” Lena Dunham has a “problem”? He needs “to work that out with professionals”? As in, reparative therapy?

Look, I don’t know if Tim Molloy is gay or not, but to say that a man who isn’t attracted to Lena Dunham needs professional help?

What the whole controversy is actually about, of course, is the feminist notion that all women are equally attractive, or at least, that it’s sexist oppression for men to prefer some women over others. Wrapped up in this egalitarian idiocy is our contemporary fetish of self-esteem, and the idea that men’s differential preferences are to blame for the psychic trauma experienced by ugly girls.

Alas, beauty is an objective reality. Beauty is not culturally imposed. In no culture do men prefer Lena Dunham to Kate Upton.

The rage expressed by Dunham’s producers is the customary indignation of the Left — “How dare you?” — when someone calls attention to facts that contradict their belief system.

Rush Limbaugh’s Undeniable Truth of Life #24: “Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society.” They’ve never forgiven him for that.
